(Life Certificate – Free of Cost)

A Life Certificate is issued to confirm that the applicant is alive and is generally required by pensioners or beneficiaries to continue receiving government pensions or welfare benefits. This certificate can be obtained free of cost through the local Grampanchayat office.

Aadhar Card of the Applicant
Pension Passbook / ID Proof
Two Passport-size Photographs
Residential Proof (Electricity Bill / Ration Card)

🟩 Application Process (अर्ज प्रक्रिया)

Visit your local Grampanchayat Office or Talathi Office.
Collect or download the Life Certificate application form.
Fill in the personal details and attach required documents.
Verification is done by the Gramsevak or authorized officer.
The certificate is issued immediately after approval — free of cost.

The Life Certificate is usually required once a year for pension verification. It can also be generated digitally through the Jeevan Pramaan portal using Aadhaar authentication.
